Bourbon barrel-aged sour ale with cherries

More than the sum of its parts, this collaborative effort between the Sour Js – Jeremy from The Bruery and Jim from Firestone Walker’s Barrelworks – showcases the expertise that both of these teams bring to the industry. Barrels of Berliner Weiss styled ales, imperial sour ale, blonde sour ale, wheatwine ale, and a splash of old ale blend together beautifully, and after finishing on cherries in bourbon barrels, the final liquid is complex, nuanced, and perfectly funky.
