The Beer
(ALWAYS FIRST)
This unique blend of Black Tuesday started its life in a host of different barrels in our cellar. Brewed over two years ago, our team has identified the choicest of Black Tuesday in a host of premium barrels to include: Eagle Rare Bourbon, Four Gate Bourbon and Four Gate Split Stave Bourbon, Buffalo Trace Rye and Buffalo Trace Boubon, Four Roses Bourbon, Blanton's Bourbon and finally a single Madeira wine cask. We blended these barrels together for optimal flavor balance and complexity, then transferred this ultra premium blend into both 10 gallon Rye whiskey and Wheated whiskey barrels from Reservoir Distillery for next level aging.
To say this is a unique blend is an understatement, albeit a true one— aged once in specialty barrels then laid to rest in small format barrels for its final nuance, this is certainly a one-of-a-kind release.
